Fais Do Do 2018 Recap

Farmhouse Delivery hosted the annual Fais Do Do Gumbo Cook-Off on February 24 with 13 teams competing for the People’s Choice and Judge’s Choice prizes. Teams started their roux earlier that morning, some soon as 7AM, setting up camp for the day at Rain Lily Farm in East Austin.

The farm opened in the early afternoon, with over 400 community members coming out to support the Gumbo teams. Ticket proceeds were donated to Urban Roots, a youth development organization that uses food and farming to transform the lives of young people and inspire, engage, and nourish the community. Farmhouse raised over $3,000 for Urban Roots over the course of the afternoon- thank you for your support!
