Shakespeare on the Farm is Back!!!

Rain Lily Farm is now hosting one of the most impressive stage sets we’ve ever seen! Come on out to 914 Shady Lane in Austin as Present Company presents a magical production of SHAKESPEARE ON THE FARM: The Tempest.

Seating and music begin nightly at 6:30 p.m., and street parking is available. The show begins around 7:30. Early arrival, blankets and picnics, and a sense of adventure encouraged!  Snacks and donation-based cocktails will be available.

Shakespeare on the Farm is FREE, and a suggested donation of $10-$20 helps support the artists who create it. Performances are suitable for all-ages, and there will be a FREE kids’ workshop Saturday October 25th before the show–email info@presentcompanytheatre.com to register. Present Company will offer a Spanish-language synopsis and an entertaining educational pre-show before each performance.

Directed by Lindsay Doleshal, The Tempest features an elaborate set of found and repurposed items by Ia EnsterÄ, an original score by Present Company Sound Guru Jason Farmer, lighting by Christina Barboza, and costumes by Liza Feldcamp. With the talents of: Omid Ghorashi, Sergio Alvarado, Hannah Burkhauser, Jennifer Coy, Dan Dalbout, Jeff Britt, Samual Grimes, Emily Rankin, Mateo Barrera, Cassadie Petersen, Austin Terrell, Eva McQuade and Hondo Powell.

Shakespeare on the Farm has been charming audiences since 2011, and has proudly become an Austin tradition. Present Company is a non-profit, sponsored by the Austin Creative Alliance.
