Standing up with Springdale Farm

418052-250

With a majority of their time and resources now being spent on endless city and attorney meetings, costly applications, permitting, code compliance and farm ordinances, Paula and Glenn Foore simply want to get back to work at Springdale Farm.

With our help, the Foores can focus their time and attention to operating – as they have for nearly 6 years – as a twice weekly farm stand providing fresh local food to the residents of Austin, and beloved community hub for fundraisers and special events.

Our goal here is simple. We want to help them continue farming on their land. Friends of Springdale Farm have come together to host this special event to support their efforts.

Help and send a quick email
Expressing gratitude for Springdale Farm could make the difference in whether it stays in existence or not. Please email our city council, http://www.austintexas.gov/mail/all-council-members, or our zoning case manager, heather.chaffin@austintexas.gov and let them know that you support Springdale Farm.

Let these public officials know that hosting weddings and supper clubs are a part of the culture of Austin that makes our city great. If you’ve had the opportunity to eat at Eden East at Springdale Farm, please let city council members and the case manager know that you appreciate Eden East as well.

Come out September 28 to see the farm and show your support
