As our favorite feast of the year approaches, we’re stocking the shelves high everyday with everything that makes a Texan Turkey Day come to life – breads and cakes, fall fruits and veggies, seasonal spreads, and of course our exceptionally tender Broad Breasted Turkeys. And don’t worry – if you’re not the turkey type, we’ve got alternative mains for your holiday mealtime like pork tenderloin, duck, wild boar, and rib racks too.
It’s a happy harvest indeed, and we can’t wait to share the bounty from all our local farmers, ranchers, bakers, and makers in the community! When it comes to the holidays around here, we take extra care with every aspect of mealtime, down to the sides and pre-grub appetizers. Seriously y’all. We don’t mess around. Cranberry Walnut Batard from Houston bakery Slow Dough Bread Co, Chocolate Croissants from Easy Tiger, Hatch Chile Cheese Nibbles from Wackym’s Kitchen in Dallas, plus goodies from our very own Farmhouse Kitchen: Rosemary Roasted Potatoes with Bacon and Cinnamon Sugar Butter for your sweet potatoes and pies. All of them are from local artisans. We could go on, but we’ll let you do the exploring!
The holidays are a delicious time of year (of course) but a busy one too! At Farmhouse, we’re big on quick, easy-to-prepare meals that are still gourmet. So if you don’t have the time to plan, or you simply want to limit your cheffing this year – check out our menu of sweet and savory options. Heat and eat side dishes? Pop our Brussel Sprouts with Cranberries & Roasted Shallots in the oven for 15 minutes. Easy dessert options? We’ve got Pumpkin, Pecan, and Apple Pie Bundles that include both the dough and the filling!
Everyday we make it our mission to bring you delicious, real food that you can prepare quickly, even in a time crunch. Produce grown in Texas soil and under our skies, meat from ranchers who believe in the humane, natural raising of animals, and artisan goods from our friends around Texas. Since the start, sourcing from local farms & businesses has always been the center of our business.
Thanksgiving is about celebrating food, but it’s also about celebrating our community, coming together, and breaking bread. We can’t wait to share the labor of love with you this season! All of our items will be available for delivery starting 11/19 – until then, feast your eyes on all the fixings we’ve got. Cheers!
