Flower Power & Goat Happy Hour: Fun Ways To Visit Your Local Farms

Hey, city-slickers!  Feel like getting your hands dirty while contributing to the success of Texas farms? See for yourself how some local farms are run, meet the farmers, and be a part of your community while participating in a variety of fun activities in a beautiful setting. From vegetable farming to goat happy hour (It’s a thing, y’all.) here are just some of our favorite options for how to “get your farm on” at some of our local Farmhouse Delivery suppliers:

Gray Gardens, Buda, TX

If you love gardening, here’s your chance to roll up your sleeves and work the field with other volunteers at Gray Gardens, a vegetable farm and CSA in Buda. This is a great family option! You’ll learn first hand how a farm works and experience the effort that goes into putting healthy food on your table, all while getting some fresh air, sunshine, exercise AND a share of produce in exchange for your time!
