It is a season of growth. Farmhouse Delivery is excited to announce that we are expanding our reach in Austin by merging with.Austin-based produce delivery service Good Apple. Beginning on May 2nd, Good Apple will cease operations and merge with Farmhouse Delivery to continue providing delicious, locally sourced food to Texans. 

Good Apple began in 2019 with a mission to improve the health of our community by providing Austinites with better access to healthy food. They did this by working with small local farmers, many of the same farms that Farmhouse supports, that use sustainable growing practices and partnering with local food pantries, health clinics, and low-income housing communities to bring free food to families facing food insecurity in Austin.

Here’s what Good Apple’s Co-founder and CEO said about the merger: “We’re so proud of the organization we’ve built in such a short time and thankful for the people that supported our mission to increase access to healthy, locally grown food for all members of our Austin community. Farmhouse Delivery has been a successful model for uplifting small farms and bringing great locally grown food to your door, and I have full confidence that they’ll serve the Good Apple community well moving forward.”

Among our many shared values, Farmhouse and Good Apple are both passionate about uplifting the community through quality, clean food. We both launched community-driven initiatives that helped various organizations such as CapMetro, Hope Food Pantry, St. James, Sweetwater Farms, Good Work Austin, American Youthworks, Saffron Trust and more. Farmhouse will continue our efforts in the community, and we’re currently supporting Mobile Loaves & Fishes and Common Threads in the Austin area. 

We at Farmhouse would like to extend a very warm welcome to Good Apple customers. We look forward to introducing them to our organic and newly customizable produce boxes, while expanding their options through our extensive grocery items, humanely raised meats, meal kits and chef prepared foods.
