Some days were made for scouring Pinterest for the perfect inspiring recipe, turning on some cooking tunes and losing yourself in the joy of culinary creation. Some days require something a little more speedy. We’re with you either way. On the nights you’re pressed for time and energy, turn to our new meal bundles–chef-created ingredients that pair perfectly with our farm-fresh ingredients to get a home cooked meal on your table stat.

Here are some recommendations for how to pair this week’s bushel items with some of our Farmhouse Meal Bundles.

PizzaBundle3Item

We love the Pizza Bundle for its major potential for veg diversity. This week, fresh tomatoes, roasted broccoli, and yellow squash make for a bright summery pie that’s both healthy and tasty. Melody, our  in-house Buyer, swears by shaved beets and beet greens on pizza (with a little goat cheese for added zest). For a fun seasonal twist, try grilling your pizza instead of baking it.

Our Breakfast Taco Bundle is already delicious on its own with farm fresh eggs, bacon, and the oh-so-*amazing* Margarita’s par-cooked tortillas (seriously, they’re heaven). But if you want to get creative with this breakfast staple, try adding sautéed kale, chopped tomatoes, or seared squash.

BurgerBundle2015

The Burger Bundle is a real crowd pleaser. While cooking the patties, throw some green garlic or spring onions on the grill. Chop and add on top of the burger, or puree them with aioli for a gourmet twist. Grilled carrots and squash make for a simple but satisfying side.

There are so many wonderful things about the brand new Thai Fresh Curry Bundle. To enhance its exotic creaminess, you can incorporate almost any vegetable into your meal. Right now we’re loving sauteed green garlic with Asian Mustard Greens and broccoli in the Red curry. More of a Massaman curry fan? Cook chopped carrots in coconut oil until soft, add curry sauce and bring to a simmer. Toss in sliced spring onion, sugar snap peas, and kale. Bring to a simmer and add seared beef cutlet. Stir to incorporate the meat and spoon over rice to serve.

FrenchToastBundleWithoutMilk

Last but not least, don’t forget to treat mom to a special meal this upcoming Mother’s Day. Try the French Toast Bundle using a mix of this season’s bright berries and a touch of whipped cream for a little added decadence.

Here’s to an easy-breezy, home cooked week!
